Wastewater treatment plant for the city of Niš
Niš, one of the largest cities in Serbia, is getting a modern wastewater treatment plant. WWTP Ciganski Ključ is being built as part of the project for the construction of the municipal wastewater collection and treatment system in Niš, financed by the European Union.
Konstruktiva takes part in the project as the subcontractor for construction works. Our team is building the plant's facilities – from foundation slabs and tank walls, through columns and top slabs, to the administration building, garage and workshop.

WWTP Ciganski Ključ
The works include concrete and reinforced concrete works, reinforcement, insulation, masonry and formwork, as well as roofing, locksmith, joinery, sheet metal and facade works. Facilities of different purposes are being built in parallel on site, and each of them goes through the same stages – foundations, walls, columns and slabs, all the way to the finishing works.
Construction is carried out in phases, in sections coordinated with the schedule of the entire plant, under constant expert supervision. Special emphasis is placed on the quality of concrete and reinforcement, the watertightness of the structures and precise execution – because the plant's long-term, reliable operation depends on exactly that.
Once the plant is put into operation, Niš's wastewater will be treated before it returns to natural watercourses, directly protecting rivers, groundwater and the health of residents. For Konstruktiva, this is another project in the field of water treatment – the field in which we have built most of our experience.
