Construction of a wastewater treatment plant - Kanjiža
The municipality of Kanjiža implemented one of the most important infrastructure projects in the last few years - the construction of a modern wastewater treatment plant, with a total value of over 7 million euros.
The new plant was designed according to modern technological standards, with systems for aeration, flocculation and decantation, which enables a high level of efficiency in the wastewater treatment process. Reliable removal of suspended particles, organic matter and other pollutants is ensured, which directly contributes to the protection of rivers and other water bodies in the region. The capacity of the plant and the application of the most modern technologies enable the sustainable and long-term functioning of the system, adapted to the growth of the population and the future needs of the municipality.

Kanjiža
Special emphasis is placed on the environmental aspects of the construction and operation of the plant. All works were carried out in accordance with the current regulations on environmental protection, and methods and materials that minimally affect the natural environment were used in the design. Automated systems enable process monitoring and management, which contributes to work efficiency and reduction of operating costs.
This project confirms the commitment of the municipality of Kanjiža to sustainable development and responsible management of natural resources.
