„Deep Processing“ Project - Pancevo Oil Refinery
As part of the „Deep Processing“ strategic project, the Pancevo Oil Refinery successfully completed the construction works on the construction of the reinforced concrete structure of the coke silo, thus realizing one of the key phases of the second stage of the modernization of NIS processing capacities.
With the completion of the works, conditions were created for the complete elimination of fuel oil production with a high sulfur content, which significantly reduces the impact on the environment and raises the level of energy efficiency.

Pancevo Oil Refinery
This demanding engineering undertaking included the construction of a massive structure with columns 14.5 meters high, made of SCC concrete combined with special Doka formwork, intended for high precision and load-bearing projects. Massive beams and a 1.1-meter-thick plate were attached to the structure, with the application of the Doka Staxo 100 scaffolding system, which ensured maximum stability during the execution of the works.
A special challenge was the armature, which, due to its complexity, was made using the advanced „Alligator“ mechanical connection system, which enabled high accuracy and durability of the construction. During the implementation of the project, more than 50 workers were engaged and the most modern safety and environmental protection measures were applied.
The „Deep Refining“ project not only represents a technological breakthrough in the domestic oil refining industry, but also a confirmation of NIS' commitment to modern, sustainable and environmentally responsible production processes.
